Throughout life we can encounter many roadblocks and, in some cases, very traumatic experiences that make us question whether we have the strength to continue, believe in people, or pursue our dreams. We tend to fixate on experiences beyond the here and now, identifying ourselves with the past or worrying about the future while missing the opportunity to achieve inner joy and peace. I specialize in treating adults and teenagers with depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD. During counseling sessions, I use the evidence-based principles of CBT, MBCBT, DBT, ACT, and Mind-Body Connection therapy.
In applying this integrated approach, I ask clients to experiment with new ways of relating to their thoughts and feelings. Through mindfulness of the present, exploration of personal values, the practice of psychological flexibility and authentic conversations, I invite clients to cultivate an immediate openness to the self, other, and the world.
As an immigrant living in New York, I possess innate cultural competence and respect for differing backgrounds, which shape my responsive approach to therapy. With an empathetic and nonjudgmental heart, I work to help each client fulfill their innate potential, live in alignment with their values, heal from trauma, and feel at peace with themselves.

I utilize an individualized treatment approach unique to each individual and their needs. I incorporate an eclectic mix of DBT,CBT, psychodynamic, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, as well structural family therapy for families and play therapy with children in assisting others to attain their goals for therapy.

As a therapist, my goal is to support and empower my clients through the process of reducing any obstacles in their lives. I believe that there is no concern too embarrassing or scary that we would not be able to take on together.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), amongst many others. In my practice, I have extensively worked with clients who suffered from trauma, substance use disorders, depression and anxiety.
